Amazing staff, great portions, and loads of quality meat! Was having a late night, and ordered 2 rice dishes with my partner as a treat. It was ready super quick, and the staff was amazing and so friendly when I picked it up. The beef fried rice was absolutely packed with protein, not greasy at all, and so super tasty! I would recommend this to anyone who wants a classic chinese meal with friends or family!

We dined in on the set menu which was excellent, generous and good value for money. Staff were excellent but being a bank holiday weekend the takeaway was very busy. We were sat opposite the door, which about 70 percent of takeaway customers left wide open after themselves. The staff were very aware of this and kept closing it, but it was a constant annoyance to us. Younger well dressed visitors to the Island were the worst.
We look forward to dining there again but it won't be at holiday times unless the owners can sort out a decent door closer other than their staff.- Service

I have to wax lyrical about this fabulous Chinese food again. We have sadly moved from Bembridge back to the mainland but come back regularly to visit my mum. The must do each visit is to order a takeaway. It is such a treat, so fresh, so tasty, so delicious. Thank you Lu Shan once more. I highly recommend the chisken with ginger and spring onion, rice noodle special and crispy chilli beef. See you next time.

Very tasty and reasonably priced Chinese. I found the server particularly polite and friendly. She deserved more of a tip, but my company that evening was a stingy Scrooge. Hence why leaving a review to express how much I appreciate the service she gave, in alternative methods to financially 🤗

Wasn’t sure what to expect from the varying reviews but this far exceeded my expectations. The portions were great. Everything was fresh, super tasty, and really nice. Will definitely order from here again or go eat in the restaurant. Highly recommended.Placed the order taking the reviews into consideration. Many appear to be from Previous owners. Great Cantonese food! We ordered crispy skinned duck, Singapore noodles, beef with black bean sauce and peppers, roasted pork with ginger and spring onions, and chicken with mushrooms. Super tasty food. Only giving 4 stars for atmosphere because we were the only guests there on a weeknight in October.

We have struggled to find a nice sit down Chinese restaurant on the island, but we were impressed by Lu Shan. The enthusiastic young staff were very attentive but not intrusive. We selected a set menu which included a starter platter of crispy seaweed, spring rolls, chicken satay skewers and ribs. The ribs were probably the best we've had, loads of meat and moist. Seaweed was nice. Satay sauce was a little bland but not a big issue. This was followed by duck pancakes, again with fresh succulent duck meat. Both main meals were also nice. Drinks prices also reasonable. Would definitely visit again if in area.Very friendly staff, we sat in as a family and had a lovely meal. The Chinese style sweet and sour chicken in particular was delicious. Thank you for a lovely meal and wonderful hospitality.
Lu Shan Chinese takeaway on the Isle of Wight exceeded expectations! The duck chow mein and crispy duck were divine, not greasy at all. A flavourful, satisfying experience. Will definitely return for more!

We had a meal for 3 people on Monday 2nd September. This popular restaurant is clean and well presented. The food is excellent, we tried 6 different dishes and the staff are very attentive. Had a fabulous meal for mother in law's 80th birthday. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food. We sat in the restaurant and service was good and the food was hot, tasty and ready in good time. Take away was popular and handled away from diners in the restaurant so as not to disturb our meal. Highly recommended.
Best Chinese on the island, they deliver to Brading and its alway pipping hot, very quick also. And the food is outstanding. Fresh and the right portions. The only Chinese I don't feel too groggy after with. Very friendly service. The only place I'll ever go to on the island for a Chinese.
